Breakers Boutique is an amazing motorcycle friendly beachfront bed & breakfast retreat which affords you peace, privacy and quiet mixed with a little bit of luxury, located just 14kms north of Greymouth on State Highway 6 and 30kms south of Punakaiki and the Pancake Rocks.

The Coast Road has been named one of the top ten coastal drives in the world by Lonely Planet and a popular road for motorcyclists heading to and from the famous Burt Munro rally, annually held in Invercargill. If you are heading from Picton you either choose to ride down the West Coast to experience this coastline south or return this way heading north. But whichever way you choose, the West Coast is a must for any motorcyclist.

Offering stylish accommodation to the discerning traveller, be it on two or four wheels; Breakers is stunningly located on the Punakaiki coastline (Coast Road) overlooking the Tasman Sea, with hosts that offer true New Zealand hospitality and panoramic sea views.  After a day’s riding, Breakers Boutique is a great place to relax and soak up the beachfront atmosphere with a remote surf beach in front, enjoy the sound of the native bird song and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the breaking waves.  It is recommended by riders to base yourself here for at least 2 days and enjoy the great day rides around the West Coast, then to return to this luxurious accommodation to relect on your day’s ride.

GUEST REVIEW: "That was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. A fantastic location with wonderful views and with Jan, a host who has given the feeling of coming home. Who has ever experienced homemade pizza with a cold beer with such a view and fortunately also divine sunset. Thanks to Jan, it was extraordinary."
