Marlborough is a region of New Zealand, at the northeastern tip of the South Island. It is well known for its winemaking industry, and the Marlborough Sounds, an extensive network of coastal waterways, peninsulas and islands. Known in Māori as Waitohi, Picton is famous for being the major interisland port connecting the top of the South Island to Wellington In the North Island.  Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sound/Tōtaranui, Picton,is also quite possibly the prettiest seaside town in New Zealand. With  plenty of activities to entertain locals and visitors alike, Picton is a great centre for motorcycling.
