The Cosy Nordic Cabin is perfectly situated right in Mt Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty for motorcyclists exploring the scenic routes of this amazing coastal region of New Zealand. It is located so close to Bayfair Mall, Bay Park, and from beaches where you can enjoy a swim or walk on the white sand of the amazing Arataki, Papamoa Beach and at Mt Maunganui. It is also so close to the main highway and easy to find.
The beach access nearest our home is Arataki - but it's a short drive to Mount Main beach or Papamoa beach (not sure which is most attractive for out of towners....we love it all!)
Hosts Mike and Christina originally built this Nordic Cabin to host friends and family, but is now available for fellow motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
Their Nordic cabin offers a comfortable bed, infinite hot water shower, wifi, TV with freeview & Netflix, and a basic kitchen with a kettle, microwave, small fridge, and hot plate.
There is off-street bike parking either alongside their house or under cover in the workshop.
They look forward to welcoming you and sharing their love for motorcycles and the beautiful New Zealand countryside. Whether you're here for a short stay or a longer adventure, their cabin is the perfect retreat for your journey.

Mike and Christina
Mike and Christina, originally from Alberta, Canada, are proud to have called the beautiful Bay of Plenty home since 2017. With over 20 years of marriage under their belts, they are now empty nesters, sharing their cozy space with their friendly Labrador retriever, Lily, who loves to greet guests.
Motorcycles have always been a significant part of their lives. Mike, a builder by trade, started his career as a motorcycle mechanic. Christina, who works in the kiwifruit industry, has been riding alongside Mike for years. They have toured the stunning landscapes of the Rocky Mountains, down to Sturgis South Dakota, and beyond, and brought their passion for motorcycles with them to New Zealand.
They typically ride cruisers, but dabble in adventure bikes, dirt bikes and really anything with two wheels!
