Harakeke Studio located right by the shores of Lake Taupo offer this stylish, upscale studio attached to your motorcycle friendly host’s home. The Studio is well designed providing you with your own privacy and parking right outside your bedroom door.
This self-contained space is very comfortable and quiet, close to the airport and 7.3 km from the town centre. Lake access is close by and a supermarket, restaurant, stores and cafes are within walking distance. It has easy access to and from SH1 whether you are riding south or north and a very doable ride from the ferries in Wellington.
The Studio room is located to the side of your host’s home, with independent access and parking. You can enjoy your morning coffee or tea right outside your bedroom door or enjoy your dinner on the outdoor leaner and stools.
A basic continental breakfast is provided which is great for riders heading off for the day. There is a small fridge in the room, however if you are staying for more than one day and would like more milk or to store food in the bigger fridge located in the garage next to the room, you just need to ask. You can also access a washing machine and dryer if you ask.
Your wonderful hosts Leyette and Paul want you to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable night or nights and are there to help.

Leyette and Paul
Leyette and Paul are motorcycle enthusiasts with extensive experience riding throughout New Zealand and Europe. They are experienced accommodation hosts and they are looking forward to welcoming kindred motorcycling spirits to stay in their space.
Paul currently is the proud owner of a V85TT and Leyette loves being his pillion on their rides around the country and they both enjoy driving exotic cars, which fits in nicely with their business of iDrive Relocations which offers door to door vehicle delivery so they are very busy being New Zealand’s fastest and friendliest door to door vehicle delivery.
