Kūkupa pavilion sleeps a couple or single guest.
450north is located in Opara Estate, a kiwi conservation area, on the southern side of the inner Hokianga harbour.
Kūkupa is located 9kms off SH12, between Rawene and Opononi. Once you turn off the SH, you’ll have an easy, rural, gravel ride to the private gate, which you’ll be given a code for upon booking.
While Steve and Kiri live on the property, the pavilion is stand alone, further down the property closer towards the water, giving guests incredible views, total privacy and seclusion. There are views over the harbour and native bush through floor to ceiling glass sliders from every room.
After your day riding, enjoy a soak in the outdoor bath, or shower with doors opening to nature.
Enjoy the expansive harbour views, the majestic Kūkupa (NZ native wood pigeon) performing loops in front of the pavilion, or star gaze from the outdoor area, snuggled up by the fire, and listen to the kiwi calling.
Complimentary Continental Breakfast is supplies, along with a bottle of choice of Marsden Estate wines.

Steve and Kiri
Kiri and Steve are certainly motorcycle friendly and look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the beauty of Hokianga.
As a family, the Nields have been involved in off road racing for 40+ years, they have run many club and national events. Steve used to race, but now has an adventure bike. Their three (now adult) children have also raced in NZ and overseas, so motorcycling has been a family adventure for many years.
They’re also keen fishermen, and Opara is a great place to fish from.
