Our Slice of Heaven located in the heart of the Beach Village, is perfect for all occasions and particularly ideal when riding.  The 45km ride from Waipukurau is a scenic route past farmland towards the coast, with the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel as the ideal spot to stop for a cold one, before heading to the house. After a day’s riding, you can then enjoy a walk on the white sand beach which is just a stroll away, go for a swim or take in a game of golf which is over the road.  The township has all the amenities you need: Dairy, Takeaways, Coffee Cart, Petrol, Pub & Meals at the Country Club on Friday.  If heading South when leaving, the 77km trip along the inland coast road, from Porangahau to Dannevirke, is worth the ride; you can stop to visit the longest place name in the world,  and perhaps stop again at the Wimbledon Pub for lunch, then take the 10min ride to Herbertville, before carrying on your way to Dannevirke; you can also take this road in, if coming from the South.

The house has multiple outdoor areas, three decks, all equipped with furniture, to allow larger groups to spread out and enjoy some quiet time and reflect on the day’s ride.  We have two toilets, one indoor shower and one outdoor shower plus a washing machine and dryer.  The master bedroom has a television with Apple TV provided, and the living room has a 60" TV. We have multiple board  and outdoor games available.  

The kitchen is very well equipped, you'll find most things you need for baking, frying, roasting, boiling and general catering, along with a 6 burner BBQ. The dining room table only seats 6, however, we have bar stools and the 6 seater outdoor setting, with additional stools for larger groups. You will have full access to all areas of the house, except the master bedroom wardrobe.
