The Relaxing Rural Retreat is approximately 8 minutes from Huntly town, 12 minutes to Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hampton Downs, 30 minutes to Te Rapa and 1 hour to Raglan and it’s a must to stay two nights because there are so many loop rides you can take and know that when you return each day, you can relax and know that your bike, trailer or whatever your mode of transport is safe and secure.

The Relaxing Rural Retreat is a newly built luxury cottage with new flooring , new Queen bed with gorgeous quality linen sheets, duvet and extra comfortable pillows! The bathroom is beautifully tiled, a roomy shower, heated towel rails and plenty of towels!

The breakfast bar/kitchen/living area has a wonderful view out west over gorgeous farmland and hills, extremely private and scenic!

There is a comfortable couch which can also turn into a double bed if needed for 2 single riders or that extra person.

Deck area for sitting outdoors and having a beer/wine and relaxing, around beautiful surroundings!

They will provide fresh free range eggs, milk, butter & basics for you to start your riding day off.

Kate and her husband welcome riders to their brand new amazing, private and luxurious retreat in the country with the best views! Whether you are travelling north, or travelling south, or spending time at the race tracks or exploring the fabulous Waikato, when you stay at their place, as the name implies, they want your stay to be the best experience, where you can chill out and relax in the new gorgeous space!

Kate and her husband are not motorcyclists themselves, but live on a small farmlet and have friends who ride who tell them that the roads around this region are fantastic, and of course so close to the many motorcycle and racing events.

Kate is a veterinary nurse who obviously loves animals, farm life and the beach. She is married to Philip, a farmer and they have 4 grown children. Kate works from home so she will usually be around to meet and greet you. So too will their 3 fur babies; Trevor, Maggie and Oskar.
