SLEEPS 4 | Riders’ Rest is a spacious self-contained Studio Apartment with 2 Queen beds and a Queen size bed. The Studio has a newly renovated ensuite and a woodburner for those wonderful wintery Otago days to relax in front of. Your bikes can park right outside your entrance which is now concreted.
Costs: Solo Rider: $120 (if on their own) | Couple: $150 per couple - Preferably Two night minimum stay.

MEET YOUR HOST
Dave Morrow
Dave is a motorcyclist adventurer, having ridden extensively in Europe, South America, the Himalayas and throughout New Zealand. He enjoys sharing his home in Alexandra (well to be precise Riders’ Rest Alexandra is located between Alexandra and Clyde). Dave rides all over Central Otago and is more than willing to help you plan your day’s riding, whether you are seeking seal or off-road, and will even ride with you when he has the time.
He’s also a gyrocopter enthusiasts, owning his own “motorcycle in the sky” and enjoys taking people for rides when the weather permits.
Dave also lives on the property, which was his family’s homestead and where he and his wife brought up their children. The Studio apartment is below the main house so if you are looking for a private getaway, or wanting to use it as a base for some wonderful riding, then this is the place for you.
