Designed by motorsport and equestrian enthusiasts Sarah and Matthew, The Cool Down Room NZ is a modern, private studio in Wairakei - the perfect base for riders, racers and road-trippers exploring Taupo and the Central North Island.

The spacious 32 m² studio features a luxurious king-size bed, private ensuite, kitchenette, Starlink internet, a work area, 42-inch smart TV with Netflix and cosy underfloor heating. A complimentary continental breakfast is included, often featuring something homemade by Sarah using produce from the garden.

Motorcyclists will appreciate the sealed driveway, secure undercover bike storage, room for riding gear and early-departure-friendly location. Situated directly off SH5, you can be back on the open road in moments, whether you're heading towards Taupo, Rotorua, Wellington or Auckland.
